The holidays wouldn’t be complete without a delicious cranberry relish dish, and our Warehouse Administrator, Janet Fransham, has selected a tangy and sweet Cranberry, Apple & Fennel Relish recipe that’s perfect for the season!

Whether you enjoy it with your turkey or as a spread on crackers, this Cranberry, Apple & Fennel Relish will add the perfect tangy and sweet flavor to your holiday feast.

Without further ado, here’s the recipe:

Ingredients:

1 cup finely chopped fresh or frozen cranberries
2 medium apples, cored and diced (peeled or unpeeled)
1 large fennel bulb, cored and diced
1/3 cup honey
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1/8 tsp ground cinnamon
pinch of sea salt
2 tbsp chopped fresh mint

Instructions:

In a medium saucepan, mix together chopped cranberries, diced apples, diced fennel, honey, vinegar, cinnamon, and salt.
Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat to medium and continue cooking until the mixture is thick and jammy, stirring often, approximately 25-30 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in chopped mint. Chill in the refrigerator until ready to use.
