The goal of the Warehouse Associate/Dispatch position is to increase efficiency, profitability and customer experience. This position may require truck driving as business needs change. Warehouse and dispatch experience is required. Work load is year round. Potential growth opportunity is available for determined individuals.

Responsibilities

Coordination of deliveries and pick-ups
Processing rental contracts per company procedures
Picking, packing and checking in orders
Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
Load and unload straight automatic non CDL trucks
Safely secure inventory inside the trucks for transport
Understand the capacity of trucks and trailers
Oversee maintenance and repairs of fleet

 

 

Skills

Proven working experience as a dispatcher
Proficiency in inventory software, databases and systems
Computer knowledge and experience
Knowledge of local area and roads
Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
Exceptional organizational and time management skills
Ability to lift heavy objects
Current forklift certification

Production Workers perform a variety of event rental duties including, but not limited to: Installing Frame and Pole tents, tent sub-flooring, staging, dance floors and bleachers. Work load is year round. Potential growth opportunity for determined individuals.

  • Is dependable, people-oriented — enjoys interacting with people and working on group projects
  • Loved building things and taking them apart as a kid…or even today
  • Has a technical background
  • Has a valid driver’s license
  • Can load and drive up to a 26’ box truck
  • Can qualify for a DOT Medical Card
  • Is good with basic power tools
  • Can lift heavy materials and products
  • CDL certification is a plus!

Our fast growing event services company is currently seeking an experienced leader to join our tent installation team. A successful candidate must be able to communicate, teach and guide our team of tent installers. Here at A to Z, teamwork really does make the dream work.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Supervise tent crew and warehouse support with organizing, pulling and loading tent and flooring equipment
  • Coordinate with management to finalize installation plan per site
  • Ability to read and train team to interpret job-specific installation schematics
  • Communicate performance expectations to tent crew
  • Delegate specific assignments to crew during installation, redirect as necessary to maintain production schedule
  • Supervise the proper and safe assembly of tents per manufacturer specifications and company policy
  • Oversee the maintenance of tents, accessories and rental equipment per company policy
  • Maintain and enforce the cleanliness of storage and work areas

 

Qualifications and Skills

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Can load and drive up to a 26’ box truck
  • Can qualify for a DOT Medical Card
  • Experience installing Pole and Frame tents, Clearspan Structures a plus
  • Construction or carpentry background preferred
  • Professional demeanor
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Capable of lifting approximately 70lbs. intermittently
  • Computer knowledge is preferred
